Julie hosts inspiring, motivating guest speakers offering solid guidance to help get your writing ready for 2010. Learn what to expect in film, TV, reality, and new media from working writers, producers, and other industry experts.
Classes are approximately one hour with a live Q & A session.

Jason Scoggins is the founder of the hit blog Life On The Bubble. He is a partner and literary manager with Protocol Entertainment. His new service www.itsonthegrid.com launched in November; the site analyzes film spec tracking, sales, industry trends and open writing assignments.
Thursday November 19, 2009 – “Writing A TV Pilot And/Or Spec.” WB Fellow and TV writer Margaux Froley discusses how to make your TV scripts pop. Class code: N019.
TV writer Margaux Froley is a 2008 graduate of the WB Writers Workshop; afterward, she was staffed on the TV show “Privileged.” She is currently working on an original pilot of her own.
Tuesday December 1, 2009 – “TV & Film Script Contests: Winning And Getting Noticed.” Kevin Miller and Margaux Froley discuss what they’ve learned from their recent contest and fellowship wins. Class code: D001.
Kevin Lee Miller is an Emmy-nominated editor who recently crossed over to writing. This past October, his action comedy spec TRIGGER MOM made him a finalist and one of the three winners in the Final Draft Big Break contest.
