I Have a GREAT Idea for a Reality Show!

How many times have you heard someone say that – or said it yourself? I always thought Survivor: Ikea would make a great post-apocalyptic newlywed show.  Like, you give newlywed couples two grand each and two hours to shop for a one bedroom apartment. The couple who is still married after they get home and assemble everything wins. My ex-husband always used to say that “Ikea” is Swedish for “divorce.” Apparently. Never should bought that damn vermilion verslögen tablecloth.

Well, tonight at 6pm I have the good fortune of doing a teleclass with Rebecca Winston, an accomplished freelance producer, story producer, and writer for reality TV who has worked on such shows as Trading Spaces, Outback Jack, Obsessed and Millionaire Matchmaker. She will be speaking about the importance of crafting, editing and producing solid story lines for reality TV based on her vast experience within the realm of pre- and post-production.

The class was hatched over tall beers at a BBQ joint several months ago, when Rebecca allowed me to pick her brains about the way she earns her living. I was so fascinated that I thought it would make a great class. Email HERE if you’d like to jump on the call for free this evening. My gift to you.

If you can’t catch the class tonight, make sure to catch a copy of the MP3 down the line.
