That’s where I am right now. And I must say that Virgin is the best airline – EVER! So chic, so hip, so ironic! I shall never be the same! And the wireless! Now I can just keep right on working instead of sleeping or reading or…gee, maybe having technology at our fingertips isn’t so great. We are always plugged in, aren’t we?

Very excited to be teaching in NYC tomorrow; our class is going to be SO fun! I love love love all of the “funsheets” everybody gets (you like that? get it?) and getting to know each student and talking about their projects and talking about the movies. Some days, when the fire in my hair has gone out, I feel I must have died and gone to heaven, getting to live, breathe and teach about the movies AND hang out with writers, my favorite people. Even though we are nuts. Let’s face it.

I did a really GREAT podcast interview with Jesse Rosenblatt yesterday. He’s an entertainment attorney. He had some FANTASTIC advice about copyrights versus WGA registration, collaboration agreements and generally minding one’s behind in this business. Jesse is the best. The podcast should be up sometime in the next couple of weeks, I suppose. Someone has to make them all purty, etc., before they can be posted.

I worked my rear end off and recorded as many as humanly possible before I left today so you guys will have something to listen to while I’m gone because I know you’ll miss me, RIGHT?! Even though I of course will be blogging while I’m away. But you’ll miss the sound of my voice, won’t you? Someone close to me said that my voice on the podcasts sound like a totally different person. So I told my other personality to bring it down a notch!

More later on my adventures and I promise I’ll be posting fun, informational stuff about screenwriting as often as I can while away.

Goodbye from the sky!
