Top 10 Finalists
Here are the top 10 finalists for the 2010 Silver Screenwriting Competition. Kudos to everyone on this list and even to those who didn’t make it up from the semi-finals. There are some great scripts here and it was really tough to narrow the list down. Congratulations to everyone!
BANK ROBBING FOR DUMMIES by Robert Keith Watson
BLUE LADY by Ron Cecchini
THE DOLL Doll by Rich Figel
PARAPLIZZLE by R. Ian Simpson
STOWAWAYS by Daniel Wasserman
TERRA INCOGNITA by Tess Ortbals and JR Burningham
THE COWS by Scott Donnelly and Joe Douglass
THE FIX by Ryan Jackson
THE JACK JOHNSON STORY by Joseph Puterbaugh
THE JUPITER SYNDROME by Christine Downs
Congrats to all the finalists. You should all be chuffed!
Julie I wonder if you have any comments on the gender skew of this list. Did few women enter? And/or, did women’s scripts have shared characteristics that made them less strong (am thinking of Susan di Rende’s recent comments) ?
Blue Lady by Ron Cecchini
sounds like a great title. So does the Jupiter Syndrome
Well, next time, I might place.
Great contest folks. So positive and realistic.
Just like life, the slings and arrows of outrageous fortunes.
Good luck to all.
Congrats rock on.
Congratulations to the top ten finalists!
Hi Julie,
I did not make it on your top ten. To keep it short.
I got to turn off the tv and stop posting like a nutcase on forums like those guys from Done Deal Pro and write some winning scripts. Just like I’m trying to keep this comment short.
Okay time to write, I will apply on your next contest Julie.
Question for you, when will you have a short script contest?
And thanks for all your great posts.
